Dr. Alireza Taab is the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology at Ilam University, Iran, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Breeding. He holds a Ph.D. in Crop Production Science with a specialization in Weed Biology from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. His research focuses on weed biology, management, and computational modeling. Dr. Taab has extensive experience in academic leadership, international collaborations, and teaching, mentoring both MSc and Ph.D. students. He is an active member of the European Weed Research Society and has contributed significantly to scientific research, peer review, and editorial boards in the field of weed science.
