John Baptist Walier Kabo-Bah is the Founder and current leader of Afrivoices for Climate Change in Ghana, where he drives strategic initiatives in sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and community livelihoods while also serving as Business Development Manager at Banhart Specialist Hospital and a Board Member of the Clinton Global University Initiative. He holds an MPhil in Agribusiness Management from the University of Energy and Natural Resources, a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Catholic University of Ghana, and certificates in civic leadership from the University of Georgia and land governance from the University of Western Cape and PLAAS. His research centers on agribusiness innovation, value chain development, digital entrepreneurship, and climate-smart solutions, with emerging interests in inclusive technology adoption, food systems resilience, and youth-led sustainability ventures. With over seven years of professional experience, he has held key roles including Project/Research Associate at 3A Environmental Solutions Ltd, Project Manager at Langmaal Center for Rural Development Initiatives, and Accounts Officer at Nandom Rural Bank. His major contributions include research on e-commerce adoption among grain traders, innovative models for technology transfer in agriculture, and community-based strategies for climate adaptation and livelihoods. He has presented at international forums including the UN Summit of the Future, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit, and Thought for Food Global Summit. Recognized as a 2024 Mandela Washington Fellow, he is also a winner of the IFAMA Future of Food Contest and has been featured in Business and Financial Times for thought leadership in agribusiness and food systems.
