Weili Sun is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electronic Information at Nanjing Agricultural University under the mentorship of Associate Professors Fei Hu and Xiuqing Fu. He also serves as the Minister of Culture and Sports in the Graduate Student Union. Weili completed his undergraduate studies in Measurement and Control Technology and Instruments at Yangzhou University, where he was a class monitor and participated in several national-level innovation and entrepreneurship projects. He won the second prize in the Yangzhou University Challenge Cup and received an excellent award in the Jiangsu Province College Student Electronic Design Competition.

- Lightweight Identification and Detection Method for Pear Tree Pollen Germination Vitality
Developed a pear pollen germination detection system to improve pollination efficiency and optimize fruit yields. Designed a lightweight model to monitor pear tree pollen germination, reducing deployment costs and applying transfer learning for other fruit trees.- Publication: Published a paper as the first author on the project’s detection accuracy and cost-efficiency.
- 3D Point Cloud Segmentation of Cotton Growth
Collaborated with the Xinjiang Agricultural Reclamation Science Research Institute to study the effects of salt stress on cotton growth using a multi-view imaging system and 3D Gaussian Splatting technology. Developed the SAMPoint segmentation algorithm for efficient data segmentation.- Impact: Provided a theoretical basis and guidance for salt stress management in cotton.
- Development of Intelligent Negative Pressure Transfer Isolation Cabin
Innovated an isolation cabin designed for the safe transport of infectious disease patients, featuring a unidirectional fresh air system, real-time environmental monitoring, and cloud-based data management.- Application: Enhances protection for medical staff and efficient isolation during disease outbreaks.
