Assoc. Prof Dr. Bashir Olaniyi Sadiq currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of ICT at Kampala International University, Uganda, starting in July 2024. Dr. Bashir holds a PhD in Computer Engineering (2018) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he developed a routing protocol for light fidelity-based indoor flying ad hoc networks. He also holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering (2015) from the same university, where his thesis focused on improving edge detection algorithms using Particle Swarm Optimization. He earned his B. Eng in Electrical Engineering in 2011, with a project on TCP and UDP protocol service level analysis.
