Research Work Experience:

Focused on plant biotechnology, especially rice molecular biology, and multiple stress tolerance. He standardized protocols for somatic embryogenesis, developed rice lines resistant to biotic and abiotic stresses, and conducted extensive phenotypic screenings for resistance traits.

Ph.D. Research: Developed multiple stress-tolerant versions of rice variety CO 51 through Genomics-Assisted Breeding. Developed rice lines resistant to drought, salinity, submergence, phosphorus starvation, and various diseases using QTLs/genes.
