Laura Yesenia SolĂs Ramos is an accomplished researcher and academic from San JosĂ©, Costa Rica, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Costa Rica (UCR). She holds a Ph.D. in Plant Sciences and Biotechnology from the Centro de InvestigaciĂłn CientĂfica de YucatĂĄn (CICY) in MĂ©rida, Mexico, and a Master’s degree in Forest Ecology from the Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa, Mexico. Her Bachelor’s degree in Forest Engineering was obtained from the Instituto TecnolĂłgico de Costa Rica.
